Is Autumn Still the Best Time to Sell in London & Essex?

Conventional wisdom holds that spring is the strongest selling season, and while there's truth to that for family homes chasing a school-year move, our own sales data tells a more nuanced story.

Across the last three autumns, we've seen a notable uplift in serious, motivated buyers, often those who have been searching since spring without success and are now ready to commit before the year end.

Competition among sellers also tends to ease in September and October, meaning well-presented homes can stand out more clearly than during the crowded spring rush.

If you're considering a sale, the right time is ultimately determined by your own circumstances, but don't discount autumn as a strong window in this market.
